never fret
there are chapters
in our lives
where our purpose — whether
imbued in a heart
or a place —
can leave us.
but there is always
a final page to our stories
and in them, more often
contains a different ending —
one where those purposes
were never truly ours.
but never fret —
those losses may very well
be the best thing
that could have ever
happened to us.
